Wines
The Côtes-du-Rhône wine route passes Mirabel-aux-Baronnies. La Bastide d'Or is a good starting point from where parts of this route can be followed. Don't forget to stop at the local wine farmers to taste their excellent wines.
Olives
This region is noted for its many olive groves, there are even two olive mills in Mirabel-aux-Baronnies and they are certainly worth a visit. There is also an interesting olive tour through this region.
Truffles
The main part of the truffle production of France comes from the Drôme, the Vaucluse and Alpes-de-Haute Provence. From November till March there are many truffle markets and festivals, these are mostly situated in the villages and towns surrounding Mirabel-aux-Baronnies.
To get acquainted with the "black gold" you can visit one of the many truffle farms or you can participate in a "truffle search".
