Hiking
Lovers of hiking can enjoy the beautiful scenery and peace and tranquillity of these surroundings. There are many signed footpaths in the Drôme and these routes are categorised as easy, normal or difficult, so there is plenty of choice for everyone.
Cycling/biking
From La Bastide d’Or you have a beautiful view on Mont-Ventoux, this mountain is loved by cyclists and is only 20 km away! The hilly landscape surrounding La Bastide d’Or is itself a challenge for every cyclist.
Wintersport
If you enjoy skiing then Mirabel-aux-Baronnies is a good place to stay. La Joue du Loup, near Gap, is about one and a half hours drive from Mirabel-aux-Baronnies. Usually there is enough snow in December to Ski here. La Joue du Loup also has a sister resort called Superdévoluy, these resorts are connected and between them they have many good ski runs. The resorts are great for both experienced and inexperienced skiers with many Bleu, Red and a few Black runs. Skis and other materials can be rented. The runs are well maintained and there are a number of good restaurants to eat at.
